Appeal to find missing woman from Weymouth

We are pleased to say missing Weymouth woman Charlotte Sommers has been found safe and well.

Charlotte, 27, was reported missing on Monday 25 June having last been seen on Thursday 21 June 2018 in the Preston beach area of the town.

As a result of enquiries officers believed she may have travelled to the Slough area of Berkshire.

Charlotte was located in Slough yesterday evening, Thursday 28 June.

We would like to thank the public for sharing our appeal.

 

Officers are appealing for the public’s help to find a missing woman from Weymouth.

Charlotte Sommers, 27, was last seen on Thursday 21 June 2018 in the Preston beach area of the town. She was reported missing on Monday 25 June.

Enquiries have been ongoing since the report and it is believed she may have travelled to the Slough area of Berkshire.

She is described as white, five feet two inches tall, of slim build and with long dark hair.

Inspector Matt Chutter, of Dorset Police, said: “Charlotte is a vulnerable woman and has not been seen for over a week, which is out of character. As a result, we are now really concerned about her welfare and I am appealing for the public’s help to locate her.

“If anyone knows of Charlotte’s whereabouts please let police know urgently.

“I would ask Charlotte if she sees this appeal to please make contact with us as we just want to ensure you are safe and well.”
