Are some theories surrounding the origins of Covid-19 being promoted and others supressed?

Russell Brand articulates in seventeen minutes what we should all be contemplating. Why? Because objectivity, or at least its pursuit, will emancipate us from ignorance much more effectively than any other methodology. Opinion based upon dogma is merely a cage that we spend our lives rattling.

Many aspects of knowledge are either kept from us or are undermined and corrupted. Why? Because others prefer us to be fed on their chosen diet not on something we may choose freely for ourselves. This helps us to understand that few of our lives are authentic. Most are determined externally without us even considering it.

From the sexual abuse of children

to the derision of minority groups to why certain individuals ensure war is permanent to infectious diseases… the knowledge most consume is packaged by others. Unless we apply ourselves to exposing disinformation and work closely with others who do the same that we are also doomed to spend our lives clinging to the cage bars and shaking it without ever escaping.

Covid 19 appears to be no different. As Russell Brand articulately discusses below the aim of our being should be to be inquisitive and ultimately we should be attempting to break out of the cage and see the world very differently. Not the one constructed for our consciousness but the one we construct for ourselves.

Having built up our own body of knowledge and by maintaining its pursuit, whilst we still have the capacity, we will die much less vague.

Science writer Nicholas Wade has written an article in which he concludes that evidence around the origins of COVID-19 is “fairly firmly in favour” of the virus coming from the lab at Wuhan. With other scientists contesting his reasoning, what does this scientific debate signify?

Wherever the knowledge takes us in a true democracy it would be welcomed. The fact that it is not should tell us something very profound.

Only we can set us free.
