So nice to be able to spread some good news!

Fantastic news from Chile! In Latin America, the People are speaking!

There have been jubilant scenes in Chile after an overwhelming majority voted in support of rewriting Chile’s constitution, which dates to the military rule of Gen Augusto Pinochet.

With almost all the ballots counted, 78% had voted “yes” in a referendum that was called after mass protests against inequality.

President Sebastián Piñera praised the peaceful vote.

He said it was “the beginning of a path that we must all walk together”.’ (BBC)

Democracy has returned to Bolivia with their ‘new’ Left government, Argentina is now run by The Left, ditto Nicaragua, Venezuela, Cuba, Mexico. The (often Far) right is struggling in Brazil, Peru, Columbia, Ecuador and elsewhere.

The Latin American/Carribean People are leading by example against the media/US-backed coups/right/far right.

Let this be an inspiration to us all here in the UK!

Let the Bolivarian Revolution continue!

Hasta La Victoria, Siempre! El Pueblo Unido Jamas Sera Vencido!
