Officers investigating an attempted burglary at an address near Bridport are issuing CCTV images of the suspect in a bid to identify him.

Dorset Police received a report at 1.55am on Tuesday 22 March 2022 that a man was making efforts to gain entry to a property off West Bay Road.

Officers attended and carried out a search of the area, but the man was not located.

No access was gained to the address and nothing was stolen.

Police Sergeant Matthew Love, of Bridport police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries into this incident and have obtained CCTV images of the suspect.

“I appreciate they are not of the best quality, but I am hoping someone may recognise the man from his build and clothing.

“If anyone has any information to help me identify who was responsible for this incident, please contact Dorset Police.”
