Following the ram raid last week, which resulted in the loss of Beaminster’s ATM machine, local business owner Mike Hewitson of Beaminster Pharmacy has stepped in to help local people continue to have cash facilities. With immediate effect, Beaminster Pharmacy are offering a cashback service until a new machine is installed in the town.

Pharmacist Mr Hewitson said “The ram raid on the local Beaminster cashpoint is causing problems for the local community, especially as many are elderly and have no transportation. We wanted to do something to make people’s lives easier. The local pharmacy is part of the fabric of the town and we wanted to do all we can to help the local community.”

Beaminster Pharmacy is situated 75 yards away from the site of the cash machine in Hogshill Street, Beaminster.
