We are completing the live touring schedule for the incredible blues/rock musician Ben Poole in 2015. Ben has recently released his Live at the Albert Hall album, which is going down a storm with fans and critics alike, peaking at number 4 in the Amazon charts.

Twenty-five-year old Ben is being described as the most exciting young Blues guitarist to come out of the UK in a long time.

“His phrasing belies his years. Definitely one to watch.”
Guitarist magazine

“Amazing…I really loved his playing.” Jeff Beck

“A really good guitar player!” Gary Moore

“This is a young man to look out for as he is no doubt a rising talent and should be supported when he comes to a local venue.” Blues Matters

When you hear comments such as the above from two of the worlds’ greatest guitar players and some of the leading UK guitar and blues magazines you just know they have heard something very special.

He’s a talented guitarist, singer and songwriter with obvious blues/rock/soul/R’n’B/country and Pop influences. It’s hard to categorise the style and genre of this young man’s music. The past few years have seen Ben Poole’s profile raise far beyond expectation and a Ben Poole live show is certainly very energetic and not to be missed, giving the audience just what they want, an audience likes to be entertained and Ben and the band never fail to deliver.

Ben is no stranger to award nominations, he was nominated for three awards at the British Blues Awards in 2011, including Best Young Artist and Best Original Song, was voted ‘Best Newcomer’ by Blues Matters magazine in their 2012 readers’ poll, and was chosen by a respected panel of music industry aficionados to represent the UK at the 2012 European Blues Challenge held in Berlin, Ben coming third out of nineteen world class entries from nineteen different countries.

Most recently, Ben was runner up in the 2013 British Blues Awards ‘Best Guitar Player’ category. Following on from the success of his debut EP Everything I Want, recorded by ex Ozzy Osbourne/Ian Gillan (Deep Purple) guitarist Bernie Torme, Ben has since self-released his debut studio album entitled Let’s Go Upstairs, which has over the past year has been receiving heavy airplay and rave reviews from across the globe.

The last few years have seen Ben touring regularly across Europe and he has appeared at some of the biggest festivals across the continent including appearances at the Glastonbury Festival and Download Festivals in the UK, Sierre Blues Festival and Blue Balls Festivals in Switzerland, Playing with Fire Festival in the USA, Gdynia Festival in Poland, Dolanky Festival in Czech Republic, Culemborg Festival and Highlands Festivals in Holland and the Schoppingen Blues Festival in Germany.

He was also to be seen blowing away classic rock fans at Rhodes Rock Festival in Greece in both 2011, 2012 and 2013 supported by Planet Rock radio. Ben and the band are regulars on the blues circuit all over Europe playing to over 6000 people at the Holland Breda Barst Festival (see photo below) and to over 10,000 people in 2013 at the Playing With Fire Festival in Nebraska, USA and also at several large pop festivals across Europe.
