Bournemouth and Poole Writing Squads, for 15-19 yr-olds – Sat 26th April

In celebration the 2nd year of the Bournemouth and Poole Writing Squads James Manlow, Bournemouth’s inaugural Poet Laureate, will be reading and leading a joint squad session at Bournemouth Central Library on Saturday April the 26th from 11 AM to 2PM.

If you are a young writer (between 15 and 19 years old) or are a parent/guardian/teacher/carer of any young writer who would benefit from joining the squads please email the squad leader [email protected] and you will receive an invite to join us at this special squad session.

Refreshments are kindly provided by the library for this Arts Council and Lit Up funded event and entry is free.

The session will include writing exercises covering poetry and prose fiction as well as readings from existing squad members and a chance to experience a writing environment surrounded by your peers.
