BOURNEMOUTH’S OWN ANITA HARRIS TO HEAD JUDGING PANEL

The search for the most talented young people in the local area aged between 8 and 21 will conclude next Sunday evening, May 4th, with a Grand Bank Holiday Family Variety Show Final being held at Bournemouth’s Pavilion Theatre commencing at 7pm.

19 acts have been chosen to showcase their talent before a celebrity panel of judges headed by Bournemouth’s own Anita Harris.  Anita has had a breath-taking career spanning over fifty years, which started when as a 15 year old she was spotted on a London ice rink. She was then whisked away to Las Vegas to appear three times a night in a top review before eventually returning to the UK to headline with a host of British stars. Anita will be joined in judging the young hopefuls by Wave 105 presenter Kate Weston, Choreographer and Director David Morgan and manager of Bournemouth’s former Pier Theatre Ian Goode.

The final show, hosted by local entertainer and CBeebies star Chris Jarvis, promises to provide a fabulous evening of family entertainment. Show organisers are offering discounted tickets to encourage local residents to come and lend their support to the young cast who will be raising funds for other young people suffering from Down’s Syndrome. Offer tickets can be purchased through the deal web sites Groupon and Live Elite at:
