Boy missing for five days last seen in Dorchester

Officers searching for missing Weymouth teenager Jack Ellard are pleased to confirm he has been located.

Jack, aged 15, was reported missing having last been seen on the evening of Thursday 25 July 2024.

Following searches and enquiries by officers, he has now been located.

Officers are appealing for information from the public to locate a missing teenage boy who was last seen in Dorchester.

Jack Ellard, aged 15, was reported missing after he did not return to his home address as expected on Monday 22 July 2024. He was last seen at around 8.30pm on Thursday 25 July 2024 in Kings Road in Dorchester.

Jack is described as around five feet 11 inches tall, of slim build with light brown hair and was last seen wearing light blue bottoms, a black jumper, black shoes and was carrying a black bag with a red and black strap.

Superintendent Andy Edwards, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been carrying out numerous enquiries in a bid to try and locate Jack and ensure he is safe and well.

“We would ask members of the public to please get in touch if they think they have seen Jack or have information about his whereabouts.

“Finally, if you see this appeal Jack – please get in touch with us as we just want to make sure that you are OK.”
