Brewery Square in Dorchester has unveiled a new water sculpture in its gardens, designed to provide residents with a calm and colourful space to unwind in.
The sculpture is a Chalice design, created by award-winning sculptor, David Harber. Flowing water clings to the outer surface of the feature, creating an illusion of movement, and the inside of the chalice is also a sundial. David is known worldwide for his innovative and contemporary designs, with his Fire Chalice making its debut at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show earlier this year.
Robert Ackland, director at Brewery Square, says: “The water feature is the finishing touch to the residents’ garden, an enchanting space where they can relax as well as socialise. The gardens at Brewery Square give residents the opportunity to enjoy the tranquil space without the hassle of upkeep.”
Situated on the former Eldridge Pope Brewery site, the £100 million regeneration project boasts a blend of Grade II-listed buildings, along with the latest Piers Gough designed buildings.
