How to make your business greener is the subject of the next Marketing West business breakfast at the Ivy House Kitchen, Groves Nurseries. The date is Tuesday, 29th January 2019.

The breakfast speakers, Julia Hailes MBE and Connor Bryant, are two UK experts on green issues and will be advising local companies on steps they can take to make their businesses greener.

Julia Hailes is an advocate and expert on sustainability and green business with years of experience working with large organisations to improve their strategy, supply chain and overall sustainability efforts. Awarded the UN Global 500 Roll of Honour she is also a best-selling author with one of her nine books, the Green Consumer Guide, selling over a million copies worldwide.

Julia says “Technology and innovation have made humans the most wasteful species on the planet. In the 21st century, we must use our ingenuity to turn this around and make progress without waste.”

Connor Bryant director of Loop Innovations advises companies on how they can create value from waste by focussing on designing products and systems for the circular economy, products that make environmental sense. A particular focus for Connor is plastics. He has ideas on avoiding, reducing, reusing, recycling and 3D-printing plastics.

Any business that would like to attend can book via the link on the Marketing West website: www.marketingwest.co.uk.
