An exciting and varied line-up of events takes to the stage at Bridport Electric Palace over the next few months.

The latest programme is now available from the box office and other outlets in the area.

London-based band L’Orchestre du Mont-Plaisant kick off July with world rhythms and moody cinematic moments, playing blues and dance pieces, with notable influences from Congolese soukous, African highlife, Ethiopian jazz, cumbia and a whiff of Middle-East and Turkish psychedelia. They’re playing on Weds 15 July.

There is also comedy, cinema and live screenings, with a full programme of National Theatre Live and Royal Shakespeare productions in the pipeline, including The Merchant of Venice, Hamlet and Othello.

Future events include live theatre and big names like The Christians and Andrew Roachford.
