Come on down and brighten up your day, pick up a paintbrush and engage in some good, free, creative fun. Get your face painted, get arty and have a great time. Come and play!

Find us in the gazebo, opposite the balloon, in the Bournemouth Lower Gardens on Saturday 13th April. Drop in at any time between 12pm and 3pm.

Brighter Days aim to bring free arts to the community by holding a day of creative, resourceful workshops. Working in association with The Arts University Bournemouth and Dorset Scrapstore our workshop artists will encourage the children to feel inspired to express their imagination through art, in the stunning surroundings of the Bournemouth Lower Gardens.

Through engaging in the arts children will learn various arts and crafts techniques as well as valuable life skills such as problem solving and developing their communication skills. We believe all children should have access to free arts in the community.

We recommend our workshops are for children aged 4 – 12 years however everyone is welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and our artists are unable to take responsibility for any children left unattended.
