Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with footage to come forward following two burglaries and a theft in Poole.

Between 9pm on Thursday 1 June and 7.15am on Friday 2 June 2023 a burglary occurred at an address in Seaview Road. A grey Vauxhall Corsa was stolen, as well as keys and clothing.

It is reported that between 4.30am and 5.30am on Friday 2 June 2023 entry was gained to Barbers Box on Ashley Road and tools were stolen.

A further incident was reported at around 5.15am where a man broke into a van, which was parked in Churchill Road, and stole a Makita radio, as well as items of clothing and an iPhone charger.

The owner of the vehicle disturbed the offender, before he left in the grey Vauxhall Corsa.

The offender is described as white, aged in his mid to late 40s with short grey or white hair and was wearing a grey tracksuit.

Police Constable Aimi Cowden, of Dorset Police, said: “Due to the close proximity of the incidents and the vehicle believed to be involved, I am treating these crimes as linked.

“I am carrying out enquiries into the incidents and would ask anyone who saw or heard suspicious activity in the areas to please get in touch.

“Also, I am appealing to the public to please check their dashcams and home CCTV systems in the vicinity during the relevant timeframe for any footage captured that may help my investigation.”
