Officers investigating burglaries in the Canford Heath area of Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Between 7pm on Friday 18 November and 1pm on Saturday 19 November 2022 entry was gained to two properties in Pilsdon Drive. Officers are awaiting confirmation of what items have been stolen.

Police Constable Harry Heawood, of Poole police, said: “An investigation is underway into the incidents and I am appealing to anyone with information or relevant footage to please come forward.

“It is possible the offenders left the properties behind Pilsdon Drive over the heath and I would urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity to please get in touch.

“Similarly, I would ask the public to please report any sightings of vehicles acting suspiciously in the area in recent days.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk/contact or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55220187998. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111
