Appeal for witnesses following burglary in Weymouth

Officers investigating a burglary in Weymouth are appealing for information or footage from the public to help their enquiries.

Between 8pm on Friday 13 May and 1am on Saturday 14 May 2022 a burglary occurred at an address in the Stanley Street area.

Items of jewellery were stolen from the property, as well as an Amazon Kindle and a Phillips beard trimmer.

Police Constable Michael Golder, of Weymouth police, said: “We are carrying out a number of enquiries to identify who was responsible and have been speaking to nearby residents to see if they witnessed what happened.

“I am appealing for anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time to please get in touch.

“I am keen to hear from any motorists who may have been travelling in the vicinity and captured anything of relevance on dashcam to please come forward.”
