January 2015 sees the return of The Writing Squad with a revitalised programme of creative writing workshops across the region of Bournemouth and Poole for young people who are passionate about creative writing.
Squad members have opportunity to develop writing skills in poetry, fiction, non-fiction and playwriting. They’ll be inspired, learn how to edit, work towards publication and develop an online presence, including networking with other writers. They will also gain opportunity to earn Arts Awards, plus much more.
All workshops are free and led by Bournemouth Arts University’s Creative Writer in Residence and published author, Dr. James Cole. Workshops will run on Tuesdays and Saturdays during school term time only.
