Officers are investigating an assault in Poole and issuing a CCTV image of a woman they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

At around 5.20pm on Tuesday 30 June 2020 a man attempted to enter the Dolphin Shopping Centre when two women stood in front blocking the entrance. The women became verbally abusive and one of them attempted to cough directly into the man’s face.

Police Constable Jon Park, of Dorset Police, said: “This was understandably a distressing incident for the victim due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

“As part of my investigation I have obtained a CCTV image of a woman I would like to speak to.

“I would urge anyone who recognises her to please contact police as soon as possible.”
