CCTV appeal following assault in Poole

Detectives investigating an assault in a car park in Poole are issuing CCTV images of the suspect.

The incident occurred between 11.40pm on Saturday 2 October and midnight on Sunday 3 October 2021 on the ground floor of the Quay Visitors Car Park on Old Orchard near to the exit.

It is reported that the victim – a man aged in his 20s from Hampshire – was punched in the face by an unknown man. He sustained a fractured cheek and a laceration that required stitches. 

Detective Constable Joanne Thomas, of Bournemouth CID, said: “I have been conducting a number of enquiries to try and identify the man responsible.

“As part of my investigation I have obtained CCTV images of the suspect and I would ask anyone who recognises him to please come forward.”
