Officers investigating a criminal damage incident in Weymouth are issuing a CCTV image of a suspect.

At around 3am on Saturday 6 July 2019 the occupants of an address in Chafeys Avenue woke to the sound of glass smashing. They discovered someone had smashed the outer pane of glass on a bedroom window and three windows of a vehicle, which was parked outside.

Officers attended and carried out a thorough search of the area but no one was located.

Police Constable Tom Legg, of Weymouth police, said: “As part of my enquiries I am issuing a CCTV image of the suspect. While I appreciate his face is not visible I am hoping that someone may be able to identify him from the clothing he is wearing.

“I would ask anyone with information to please contact Dorset Police.”
