CCTV appeal following theft from yacht clubs in Poole

Officers investigating thefts from two yacht clubs in Poole are issuing images of two men they would like to speak to and a vehicle they are keen to identify.

At around 11pm on Monday 17 August 2020 an 18-foot Bayliner boat was stolen from Sandbanks Yacht Club and at around 7.30pm on Thursday 20 August 2020 an outboard motor and fuel can were taken from the Parkstone Yacht Club.

Both incidents are suspected to involve the same black Mercedes, which officers believe was using false or cloned registration plates.

Police Community Support Investigator Adam Cleaver, of Poole police, said: “We are making enquiries into these thefts and we are releasing CCTV images of two men we would like to speak to as part of our investigation, as well as images of the vehicle believed to be involved.

“I would urge anyone with information about this vehicle or who recognises the men pictured to please contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55200124913.
