CCTV appeal following theft in Poole

Officers investigating the theft of a saddle bag from a bicycle in Poole are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

The incident occurred shortly before 5pm on Friday 29 May 2020. A man was seen to approach a bicycle, which was locked up to a railing outside Poundland in Falkland Square, and remove a bag from the frame beneath the saddle.

The man then made off with the bag, which contained a light battery, heading in the direction of Towngate Bridge.

Police Constable Daniel Goodman, of Poole police, said: “We are investigating this theft and have obtained a CCTV image of the suspect.

“I would urge anyone with information as to his identity to please contact us.”
