Officers investigating a theft in Poole and subsequent fraudulent use of a bank card are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

The victim’s wallet and a disc cutter were stolen from a van parked in Corbiere Avenue in the early hours of Wednesday 2 September 2020.

Following further enquiries, it was established that the victim’s bank card had been used at around 4am that morning to purchase items at the BP garage in Wallisdown.

Police Community Support Investigator James Somerville, of Poole police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this matter and we have obtained a CCTV image of a man who is believed to have used the stolen bank card.

“I would urge anyone with information as to his identity to please contact us.”
