CCTV appeal following theft of wallet in Bournemouth

Officers investigating the theft of a wallet at a bar in Bournemouth are issuing CCTV images of the suspect.

Shortly after midnight on the morning of Wednesday 20 March 2019 the victim left his wallet unattended on a table in Sharkeys Sports Bar in Old Christchurch Road.

CCTV shows another man approach the table and pick up the wallet, which contained £70 in cash, before putting it in his pocket and leaving the premises.

Police Constable Al Brown, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I am now in a position to release CCTV images of the suspect.

“I would urge anyone with information as to his identity to contact us.”
