CCTV Appeal Update Following Reported Assault in Bournemouth

Officers have issued an update following a CCTV appeal relating to a reported assault in Bournemouth.

At around 6am on Sunday, 28 September 2025, a woman in her 20s was walking along Holdenhurst Road when she had an interaction with a group of people who verbally abused her.

It is reported that one of the men in the group stole the woman’s glasses and stamped on them. During the incident, liquid was poured over her head and, at one stage, she fell to the floor, sustaining minor injuries.

On Thursday, 9 October 2025, officers issued a CCTV appeal seeking to identify two men in connection with the incident.

One of the men, a Black man pictured wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, has since come forward to assist officers in establishing what happened.

Officers would like to thank him for coming forward and have clarified that he is being treated as a witness and is no longer part of their enquiries.

The second man, a white man pictured wearing a black T-shirt, has also been identified and continues to assist officers with their enquiries.
