It’s that time of year again, and Dorset Wildlife Trust is taking bookings for a unique traditional Christmas party celebration at the Kingcombe Centre, West Dorset.
The Centre’s location is idyllic and unspoilt as it continues to be farmed in the traditional way, avoiding pesticides and herbicides. This cultivates an abundance of wildlife and allows visitors to experience the countryside as it once was; a real feast for the senses.
Our Christmas package gives you, your family, colleagues and friends the chance to experience the beautiful landscape around the Kingcombe Centre and enjoy the roaring log fire, fully licenced bar and 1,000 acres of grounds to explore at your leisure.
Nick Tomlinson, the Kingcombe Centre Manager said: “Our aim is to provide a Christmas experience that cannot be found anywhere else in Dorset. We only use fresh, organic ingredients, in our kitchen, so our Christmas meals will be full of flavour, just way nature intended it.”
Two and three course menus are available, with a range of options to choose from; including the traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings, and a delicious vegetarian option. Prices start from £15.95 per person including a welcome drink.
To make the most of the Kingcombe Meadows nature reserve, we also provide bed and breakfast for up to 20 guests at a special Christmas price of just £30 per person, per night.
Bookings are available from the 2nd to the 21st December for groups of between 10 and 30. For late celebrators there is a generous 10% discount for Christmas parties booked after Christmas, between 6th and 25th January.
Transport to and from Maiden Newton Station can be arranged at an additional charge; please contact the centre on 01300 321409 for more details. For more information about the Kingcombe Centre and the facilities, please visit: www.kingcombecentre.org.
