Julie Cleaver has been involved with Open 4 Business for over six years and has been Managing Director of the Open 4 Business Dorset Community Interest Company since 2010, but has resigned from the post as from 30 April.

Open 4 Business has been the annual highlight of the business calendar for ten years.  The Open 4 Business festival recognises and rewards local business success in Dorset through a programme of events, seminars and a glittering Awards ceremony.

Julie Cleaver said   “I have had great fun creating the brand and building the credibility of the Awards over the past few years with the support and help of the other Directors and the Stakeholder group.

I have met many inspirational business owners and have enjoyed seeing how the Award winners use the opportunity to grow their businesses and gain new customers.   The loyal support of the Open 4 Business Sponsors has been critical to its success and I would like to personally thank them for their support.  I will now be concentrating on my Popcorn Marketing clients and projects.”

Stephanie Pettit, former Finance Director of Open 4 Business Dorset CIC has also taken the decision to resign.  Stephanie said “It has been an honour and a pleasure to have been part of a positive, stimulating and encouraging community entity which has recognised and celebrated the accomplishments of the many talented individuals and companies in our area; from those just starting out, to those whose achievements have stood out as shining  success stories. It is an experience I will never forget.”
