Local neighbourhood policing officers seized suspected drugs following a warrant in Bridport.

At around 10.30am on Wednesday 5 June 2024, officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPT) for West Dorset and Purbeck and the Force Support Group (FSG) carried out a warrant under section eight of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) at an address in the Bradpole area of the town.

During the warrant, officers located and seized quantities of suspected class A and class B drugs, as well as cash and suspected drugs paraphernalia.

Neighbourhood Sergeant Mike Brown, of Bridport police, said: “This is the third warrant executed in the last three months by our NPT officers and it shows our relentless determination to pursue those who are suspected of dealing drugs in our communities.

“We will continue to proactively execute warrants to identify those we believe to be involved in drug-related activity and disrupt their operations.
