Class A Drugs Seized In Raid In Sherborne

Local neighbourhood policing officers seized suspected drugs following a warrant in Sherborne.

On Friday 29 November 2024 officers conducted a warrant under section eight of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act at an address in Amors Drove.

It followed intelligence linked to reported dealing and supply of drugs from the property.

During the warrant, a quantity of suspected cannabis and cocaine were located and seized.

No arrests were made.

A man has attended for a voluntary police interview and another is assisting officers with their investigation.

Neighbourhood Sergeant Mike Brown, of Sherborne police, said: “There is no place in Dorset for suspected drugs and we are absolutely committed to disrupting the activity of those who are believed to be dealing drugs in our communities.

“We know the impact drug-related activity has on an area and we will continue to execute warrants to identify those believed to be involved.

“While working together with our partners, we are determined to make our county a hostile place for suspected criminals, while protecting our communities and safeguarding those individuals who need our help the most.

“If you have any information regarding suspected drug-related activity, contact us at www.dorset.police.uk. If a crime is in progress, always dial 999.”
