A celebration to mark the multi-million pound makeover of Saxon Square Shopping Centre will take place on Saturday, July 26.
A day of live music, children’s activities and performances from local community groups has been planned to mark the completion of a huge regeneration project that has transformed the popular centre.
The fun will all take place from 10am until 4pm and will be led by the Heart FM Angels.
Entertainment will be provided by local organisations including Sessions Music and Heritage Group, Funky Little Choir and the Christchurch and District Band.
Bryan Taylor, Centre Manager at Saxon Square Shopping Centre, said: “This has been a huge project that has greatly improved the Centre, creating a modern retail space for a more enjoyable shopping experience.
“We look forward to welcoming the local community in celebrating our re-launch event, which promises to be fun for all the family.”
