Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a burglary at a community centre in Poole.
Dorset Police received a report at around 3.15am on Sunday 31 October 2021 of a burglary at Bourne Community Hub portacabin on Arne Avenue.
A window was smashed and entry was gained to the building, however, it is not known at this time if anything was stolen.
It is reported that a group of young people were seen leaving the area shortly after the incident.
Police Constable David James, of Poole Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “This hub is funded by the community for the use of local people, with many families relying on the services it provides.
“This behaviour is appalling and completely unacceptable. A full investigation is underway into the incident and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened to please come forward.
“I would also urge motorists who were travelling in the area or residents with home CCTV systems to please check their footage for anything of relevance to help my enquiries.”
