Officers searching for missing woman Angela Smith in Poole are pleased to confirm she has been found.

Angela was reported missing having last been seen shortly after 7am on Saturday 10 June 2023.

Following searches by officers, she has now been located.

We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

Officers are appealing for information from the public as they search for a missing woman in Poole.

Angela Smith, aged 82, was reported missing having last been seen in the area of Foxholes Road shortly after 7am on Saturday 10 June 2023.

She is described as being around five feet six inches tall and of average build with long grey hair. Angela was wearing a green cardigan, yellow top and trousers and has a blue cast on her right arm. She may also be carrying a black shoulder bag.

Chief Inspector Stuart Pitman, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Angela is confused easily and we are concerned for her welfare, so officers are carrying out searches in the area to try and locate her as soon as possible.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding Angela’s whereabouts, or who sees a woman in the Poole area matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.

“I would also like to make a direct appeal to Angela if you see this to please make contact with police or your family and let us know where you are as we are just trying to make sure you are all right.”
