Coroner needs public assistance following death of man in Weymouth

The Coroner for Dorset is seeking the assistance of the public to find the next of kin of a man who lived in Weymouth.

Steven John Redhead, who was 62 years old and lived in James Street, died in Weymouth on Wednesday 17 January 2024.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and no police investigation is needed into his death.

Coroner’s Officer Tracey Jeans said: “We are not treating the death as suspicious, however we have not been able to locate his next of kin.

“If any member of the public has any knowledge of his family members, please contact us as soon as possible on 01202 123900.”
