Coroner needs public’s support following death of forty-seven year old man in Blandford

The Coroner for Dorset is seeking the assistance of the public to find the next of kin of a man who died in Blandford Forum.

James Anthony Black, who was 47 years old, died at his home address in the town on Friday 13 January 2023.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and no police investigation is needed into his death.

Coroner’s Officer Nikki Muller said: “We are not treating the death as suspicious, however, we have not been able to locate any local next of kin.

“If any member of the public has any knowledge of his family members, please contact us as soon as possible on 01202 454910.”
