Coroner requires public assistance following death of woman in Bournemouth

The Coroner for Dorset is seeking the assistance of the public to find the next of kin of a woman who lived in Bournemouth.

Melanie Cox, who was 48 years old, died at an address in Cowdrey Gardens on Tuesday 19 March 2024.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious and no police investigation is needed into her death.

Coroner’s Officer Nigel Underwood said: “We are not treating the death as suspicious, however we have not been able to locate her next of kin.

“If any member of the public has any knowledge of her family members, please contact us as soon as possible on 01202 123900.”
