Coroner Seeks Public Assistance Following Death of Man in Bridport

Next of kin appeal – Colin Harbour

The coroner for Dorset is seeking the assistance of the public to find the next of kin of a man who lived in Bridport.

Colin Harbour, who was 60 years old, died at Dorset County Hospital on Thursday, 8 January 2026. He lived in Fulbrooks Close in Bridport.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and no police investigation is needed into his death.

Coroner’s Officer Laura Thorne said: “We are not treating the death as suspicious; however, we have not been able to locate any next of kin.

“If any member of the public has any knowledge of his family members, please contact us as soon as possible on 01202 123900.”
