The Coroner for Dorset is seeking the assistance of the public to find the next of kin of a man who died in Weymouth.
Christopher Schofield, who was 57 years old, died in the area of Weymouth Esplanade on Wednesday 17 December 2025.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and no police investigation is needed into his death.
Coroner’s Officer Sarah Harrison said: “We are not treating the death as suspicious, however we have not been able to locate Christopher’s next of kin.
“If any member of the public has any knowledge of his family members, please contact us as soon as possible on 01202 123900.”
