Coroner seeks public assistance following death of woman on Portland

The Coroner for Dorset is seeking the assistance of the public to find the next of kin of a woman who lived in Longstone Close on Portland.

Patricia Irons, who was 70 years old, died at an address in Weymouth on Sunday 21 July 2024.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious and no police investigation is needed into her death.

Coroner’s Officer Lucy Manuel said: “We are not treating the death as suspicious, however we have not been able to locate her next of kin.

“If any member of the public has any knowledge of her family members, please contact us as soon as possible on 01202 123900.”
