Coroners Requires Public Assistance Following Death of Man in Poole

The Coroner for Dorset is seeking the assistance of the public to find the next of kin of a man who died in Poole.

Lovell Fitzroy Smalling, who was 62 years old, died at his home address in Garland Road on Tuesday 17 March 2026.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and no police investigation is needed into his death.

Coroner’s Officer Emily Elgie said: “We are not treating the death as suspicious. However, we have not been able to locate his next of kin.

“If any member of the public has any knowledge of his family members, please contact us as soon as possible on 01202 123900.”
