Russell Brand is a famous English comedian, actor and activist. Brand was associated with popular music channel MTV as a presenter. Here are a few facts about Russell.
As a kid Brand suffered from eating disorder. He says, “I was a fat kid, not obese but chubby.’ He considers his weight as one of the reasons he suffered from depression and the eating disorder bulimia from the age of 11. Brand said of the illness: ‘It was really unusual in boys, quite embarrassing. But I found it euphoric.”
The actor was named as the “World’s sexiest Vegetarian” in 2007 by PETA. Brand adopted vegetarianism at the age of 14 and has since then remained one. Speaking on his commitment to vegetarianism, Brand says, “Even as a junkie, I stayed true – I shall have heroin, but I shan’t have a hamburger.”
The actor suffers from ADHD and bipolar disorder which cause inattentiveness and impulsiveness.
Brands association with MTV ended after he dressed up as Osama bin Laden to work.
Latterly Russell dedicates his time to exposing the monster that controls much of our behaviours, lives and deaths.
