Officers are appealing for anyone with information after a motorcycle was removed from a property in Poole without the owner’s consent and driven dangerously – with an image being released.

At 12.58pm on Saturday 11 May 2024, Dorset Police received a report that an off-road motorcycle was being ridden in a dangerous manner on Nelson Road.

Officers attended and searched the area. The motorcycle was found at an address in same road.

Following enquiries, it was established that the bike had been taken from a different property in the vicinity without the owner’s consent.

Police Constable James Allcroft-Reid, of BCP police, said: “This off-road motorcycle cannot be ridden legally on the road, which can be very dangerous. Even though we were able to recover it, I need to find out who took and used it on that day.

“I am now in a position to release an image of the suspect and hope somebody is able to identify the man pictured.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55240070236. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
