Anders Vistisen is a Danish politician affiliated with the Danish People’s Party (Dansk Folkeparti). Born on November 12, 1987, in the town of Bjerringbro, Vistisen pursued a career in law, earning a Master’s degree in Law from Aarhus University. His political journey began early, and he quickly became a prominent figure within his party.
In 2014, at the age of 26, Vistisen was elected as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) representing Denmark. During his tenure, he served on the Committee on Foreign Affairs and was a substitute member of the Committee on Legal Affairs. Vistisen was known for his strong stance on issues related to national sovereignty, immigration, and the European Union’s regulatory policies. He was re-elected in 2019, continuing his work in the European Parliament.
Throughout his political career, Vistisen has been an advocate for Denmark’s interests within the EU, emphasising the importance of maintaining national control over key policies. His contributions have been significant in shaping discussions around Denmark’s role in the European Union and addressing the challenges posed by globalisation and regional integration.
