Discount and Loyalty cards. Who offers them?

Sandie and I stopped for a pint in the Royal Oak on the quay recently. The pub is owned by Rendezvous so you can buy drinks and food from either. One of the bar staff came over to sell us some raffle tickets. When she realised that we are locals she asked if we had one of their discount card. Simply show the card when you order food or drinks and you get 20% off. She signed us up and gave us our cards there and then. You can apply for a card by going on to The Rendezvous web site.

She also informed us that the Marlborough fish and chip shop has a loyalty card for locals. I’m sure that there are many more places that offer discount locally and across Dorset. I thought it worth a mention in Dorset Eye to see if other people can add to the list of places offering discount. All these things help stretch our finances a little further.

Even better news, I won the raffle at the pub! I must be on a lucky streak. I won first prize in a Westhaven raffle and chose a £100 voucher for Brittany ferries and another ticket came out latter so we chose a £20 voucher for The Marlborough!
