Link Park’s direct frontage onto the Chickerell Link Road and proximity to Weymouth’s major roads makes it the ideal location for many businesses. Buildings at Link Park are of the highest quality available in South Dorset and all units benefit from reduced cost solar PV generated electricity. Businesses at Link Park have the use of a communal garden, enjoy direct access onto the Olympic cycle path network and even a bus stop. Link Park is very accessible by all forms of transport, making it both sustainable and convenient for all. Phase Two is currently scheduled for later in 2013, but the exact format and timing has yet to be finalised.
Ian Doyle, the Economic Regeneration Manager for Weymouth and Portland and West Dorset Councils, welcomed the news.
He said: ‘This is a clear sign that the significant private investment in South Dorset’s infrastructure by DJ Property, is starting to bear fruit already by securing businesses such as Halfords Autocentre, Screwfix and Toolstation. I am sure the great location and flexible offering for businesses on this development will continue to prove extremely popular with other growing and successful businesses.’
