Documents Stolen During Burglary in Sherborne

Officers investigating a burglary at a home in Sherborne are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Between Monday, 12 January, and Tuesday, 20 January, 2026, entry was forced to an address on Bristol Road, and items, including documents, were stolen.

Police Constable Jamie Randell, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out a number of enquiries into this burglary and I am keen to hear from any witnesses with information that might assist our investigation.

“I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during the relevant timeframe to please contact us.

“I would also ask residents in the vicinity with home CCTV or doorbell cameras to please check their footage for anything that might help our enquiries.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police online or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55260009305. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online using its website or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
