Dorchester man charged with burglary

A man has been charged in connection with a reported burglary in Dorchester.

It is reported that at around 6.30pm on Sunday 23 June 2024 a man forced entry to the Creams dessert café in Dray Horse Yard, where he caused criminal damage to the glass door and stole the till containing cash.

Following enquiries by officers, a 19-year-old man from Dorchester was arrested and charged with burglary. He is due to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 25 July 2024.
