Dorset County Hospital is recruiting Band 5 nurses to all specialties.

The hospital’s Director of Nursing Alison Tong urged nurses to apply to work with the dedicated DCH team: “To work as a nurse or midwife is an amazing privilege. Nurses play a pivotal role in nearly all aspects of patient care, from birth to death, in a variety of settings.

“At Dorset County Hospital we are committed to providing safe, compassionate care for everyone who uses our services. We have an experienced team of dedicated ward leaders who work with their teams to ensure every patient receives the care we would want for our own family. I am constantly touched by the care and compassion I see being delivered by nurses and midwives.

“There are many challenges we face in the NHS and we are developing our ward leaders to ensure they continue to lead their teams in the delivery of high quality care. This means investing in our most important resource – our staff. We are committed to ensuring our staff are competent and have the skills to do their jobs well.”
