Dorset Health Campaign asks for GP’s support

Members of the Dorset Health Campaign are writing to GPs across South and West Dorset in the next stage of the campaign to stop Privatisation of the Dorset County Pathology Lab.

GPs are being asked to have copies of the petition displayed at their reception desks so that members of the public can state their support for NHS run services rather than profit based services.

Supporter of the group, Lee Rhodes said “With the campaign having gained over 4,000 signatures, we thought it was time to ask GPs to help us in our fight to keep the NHS publicly owned.  We want to ensure that all residents across West and South Dorset get the chance to support this campaign and tell hospital managers that we don’t want their privatisation.”

The campaign has already been in town centres across the County but wants to gain support from GPs to add pressure on the hospital management.
