Dorset moves in to Tier 3 and BCP in to Tier 4 from 31st December

  • Following the announcement that Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch is to enter Tier 4 it has now been announced that the rest of Dorset will enter Tier 3.

The huge rise in cases as the Covid-19 variant have changed the landscape dramatically.

  • Tier 3 from 31st December:
  • Rutland
  • Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin
  • Worcestershire (Bromsgrove, Malvern Hills, Redditch, Worcester, Wychavon, Wyre Forest)
  • Herefordshire
  • Liverpool City Region (Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, Wirral, St Helens)
  • York & North Yorkshire (Scarborough, Hambleton, Richmondshire, Selby, Craven, Ryedale, Harrogate, City of York)
  • Bath and North East Somerset
  • Devon, Plymouth, Torbay (East Devon, Exeter, Mid Devon, North Devon, South Hams, Teignbridge, Torridge, West Devon, Plymouth, Torbay)
  • Cornwall
  • Dorset
  • Wiltshire
