I was going through some material for an upcoming project with the evening news on. I watched a story about the winter fuel allowance being taken away from the elderly and then thought of other vulnerable people who spend each day in a constant state of panic. It reminded me how I felt when I lost my home and business due to illness and struggled to get help.

I found the idea of this song and put the words into a modern context, from covering the parties at number 10 during lockdown to all of the recent unrest and uncertainties. The song will feature on my upcoming album “Has Be”.
